Kyle’s back on the keto diet, so I have searched the internet to find some keto friendly recipes that are delicious and easy to make. Don’t get me wrong, I love healthy eating. But I also love carbs. And, personally, I think I need carbs to survive, and to meet my own health goals/muscle gains. This Keto Friendly Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole is full of protein, healthy fats, and lots of broccoli!
And it’s pretty darn delicious. (So you don’t have to be on the keto diet to enjoy it!)
If you know me, then you know I’m really into fitness and trying to live a healthy lifestyle. I’ve been keeping an eye out for healthy alternative recipes to foods that I love. I’m also a sucker for super easy, time saving recipes. (Who doesn’t love that?) These healthy 3-ingredient pancakes definitely hit the spot on a Saturday morning.
And I don’t feel guilty about eating them!
So, what are the 3 ingredients? Eggs, bananas, and a pinch of cinnamon. I typically have all of the ingredients on hand, too. Eggs and bananas are both staples in my house. Although the pancakes are made with bananas, the banana flavor is not overwhelming.
The texture is also very different from the typical, fluffy pancakes. They are pretty dense. I’m fine with the texture. Would I rather have fluffy buttermilk pancakes drenched in butter and syrup? Well, probably, but I’m also a big fan of these healthy 3-ingredient pancakes. Living a healthier lifestyle involves some sacrifices but it doesn’t have to be full of bland recipes.
