Yesterday was my 29th Birthday. As a Birthday request, I asked Kyle to take some maternity photos for me. We had originally planned to go out to Max Patch but I didn’t feel like being in the car that long today. So, we took my maternity photos at Melton Hill Park in Knoxville instead. (One of my favorite photo shoot locations in Knoxville!)
I’m officially 35 weeks pregnant as of yesterday. Not much longer to go! She could come at any time but I am hoping I make it to at least 38 weeks. Baby girl is very healthy and already measuring above average. I feel both prepared and also like I have so much to do before she gets here. We finished putting together all the nursery furniture today. And I finished washing all of the baby clothes. So, all the major things are done. I just want to organize, clean, put the finishing touches on the nursery, and relax until she makes her arrival. I’m finishing up the last few days of work next week and then it’s hello, nesting.
Maternity Photos At Melton Hill Park
I have photographed a lot of maternity sessions in the past few years working as a freelance photographer. But let me tell you, it’s a different experience being on the other side of the camera, especially while pregnant. I’m happy with how I’ve looked throughout pregnancy but it is still weird to see photos where I look a little different than usual. Regardless, I knew I would want some professional maternity photos to look back on to remember this wonderful time in my life. If you are on the fence about having your own maternity photos taken, I would suggest doing it. Especially if it is your first child. (And hey, if you are in Knoxville and looking for a maternity photographer, hit me up! I should be ready to freelance again in 2019.)
And now, the photos…
